Redifining Aging, Living with Purpose

North Shore Village Network (NSVNetwork) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit member organization of older adults committed to helping one another live purposeful lives. We provide support and connections to each other as we age, helping us to remain active, vital, and contributing members of our communities. NSV Network (then known as North Shore Village) was launched in Evanston in 2010 by community activists who heard about a new model for aging in place and wanted to bring it to this area. Commonly known as “villages,” these organizations share a common purpose: to connect older adults to services, supports and social engagement that can help them remain active, healthy and vital in their communities. NSVNetwork is one of six Villages in the Chicagoland area. We are affiliated with the national Village-to-Village Network, which supports the growth, impact and sustainability of individual Villages and the Village Movement. Learn more about the VtV network here: www.vtvnetwork.org. NSV Network has members in Evanston, Wilmette, Skokie, Glenview, Rogers Park, and Northbrook among other Chicago area communities.
